Encouraging Growth & Confidence
Welcome to Village Montessori. We are a Montessori learning environment dedicated to nurturing curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
In our classrooms, children learn through hands‑on exploration, thoughtful guidance, and meaningful real‑world experiences. Rather than relying on screens or digital devices, our students engage directly with carefully prepared materials, nature, books, art, and one another. This approach encourages deep concentration, creativity, and authentic understanding.
Our teachers serve as guides, supporting each child’s natural development while respecting their individual pace and interests. Students are encouraged to ask questions, solve problems, collaborate with peers, and take pride in their work.
We believe that learning is most powerful when it is active, personal, and connected to the world around us. By focusing on practical life skills, sensory experiences, and academic discovery, we help children grow into confident, capable, and thoughtful individuals.
Thank you for visiting. We invite you to explore our school and discover how a technology‑free classroom can cultivate focus, imagination, and a genuine love of learning.

Our school is honored to be located in the former home of South Lake Montessori, a place where generations of children began their educational journeys. We recognize and respect the strong traditions of Montessori learning that were cultivated within these walls, and we are proud to continue the spirit of thoughtful, child‑centered education that has long been part of this community.
While we carry forward many of the values that made this location special, our school also represents a new chapter. We are committed to building upon the foundation that came before us while thoughtfully shaping our own path. By blending time‑honored Montessori principles with our unique vision for learning, we aim to create an environment where curiosity, independence, and meaningful discovery continue to thrive.
As we look to the future, we remain grateful for the history of this space and excited to contribute to the next generation of Montessori education here.

Nestled in the heart of budding Downtown Clermont, our school is part of a vibrant and growing community while still offering children the calm and space they need to learn and explore. Our campus combines the charm of a small neighborhood setting with the energy of a town that is continually evolving.
One of the special features of our school is our large backyard learning space, where children can spend time outdoors discovering nature, building friendships, and engaging in hands‑on exploration. Inside, our warm and welcoming classrooms are carefully prepared to encourage independence, concentration, and creativity. Each space is designed to feel calm, inviting, and purposeful...supporting the Montessori philosophy that the environment itself is an important teacher.
Together, our location, outdoor space, and thoughtfully prepared classrooms create an environment where children can feel at home while developing confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

At the heart of our school is a commitment to the core principles of Montessori education: respect for the child, purposeful independence, and a deep trust in the natural development of each learner. We believe children learn best when they are given the freedom to explore within a thoughtfully prepared environment that encourages curiosity, concentration, and responsibility.
Our classrooms are guided by Montessori practices that emphasize hands‑on materials, self‑directed learning, mixed‑age collaboration, and meaningful work. Students are encouraged to follow their interests, develop problem‑solving skills, and build confidence as capable and thoughtful individuals. Teachers serve as careful observers and guides, supporting each child’s growth while nurturing a sense of wonder about the world.
Through this approach, we seek to cultivate not only academic understanding, but also character, independence, and a lifelong love of learning...helping children grow into engaged, respectful members of their communities.
